It’s that time of year again! The Almaden Branch Library’s wildly popular annual Fall Book Sale is back.

Almaden Library Hosting Author of “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie”

The Jellybeans and the Big Book BonanzaAs part of the Doris Dillon Author Series, Almaden Branch Library is hosting Laura Numeroff, the author of “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.” Laura will be promoting and signing her newest book, “The Jellybeans and the Big Book Bonanza.” Hicklebee’s Bookstore will be onsite to sell Laura Numeroff’s books. This program is sponsored in cooperation with Hicklebee’s Bookstore and Graystone Elementary School. The event will be at the Doris Dillon Children’s Library inside the Almaden Branch Library. Book Sale Fundraiser Benefiting the Almaden Library

Spring 2010 book sale fundraiser benefiting the Almaden Library. More than 50 tables filled with books (fiction, non-fiction, children’s, foreign language, etc.), CDs, DVDs, audio books, and VHS tapes.

The price is right: 50 cents for paperbacks, $1 for hardcovers, and a few dollars more for a number of excellent special books, such as quality coffee table books. You can get a real deal from 2-3pm: “Bag-of-Books for $5.” Yes, just $5 for as many books as you can fit into a brown grocery bag.

All proceeds go to the Almaden Branch Library for additions to their collection, special programs, and any other library needs. The book sale is made possible by Friends of the Almaden Library.
