Free Clinics for Almaden Valley Girls Softball League Players

photo: girl batting in almaden valley girls softball leagueAlmaden Valley Girls Softball League (AVGSL) will be holding free preseason clinics designed to help players further develop their softball skills.

The clinics will be run by coaches and players from the Santa Clara University Broncos softball team. The clinics are available to players in all age groups.

The Players Pitching Clinic is at Bret Harte Junior High School on Saturday, January 15, 2011. The Players All-Skills Clinic is at Bret Harte Junior High School, on Saturday, January 22, 2011. See Almaden Valley Girls Softball League for more information.

AVGSL offers a fun, positive environment for players to learn and expand their softball skills.

The league promotes a sense of belonging for everyone, and emphasizes teamwork and a sense of individual success.

AVGSL is affiliated with the San Jose Police Activities League (PAL) and Amateur Softball Association (ASA).

Registration will remain open until January 31, 2011. The price is $175 per player for all divisions. You can register online.

Almaden Pop Warner FootballRegistration for the 2010 Almaden Pop Warner Football Season is now open. The league is for girls and boys ages 5-14. Save $50 by taking advantage of the early registration discount. Registration fees are only $340 if you register by March 15, 2010. Registration fees go up to $390 after March 15.
