Almaden Valley Real Estate Market Update

The Almaden Valley real estate market showed a bit of slowdown this past week. The number of single family homes on the market remained virtually unchanged, increasing from 60 last week to 61 this week. The number of listings under contract increased from 30% to 31% over the same time frame.

Traditional (ie non-distressed) sales were similar; the number of available single family homes increased from 48 to 50, while the number of listings under contract fell from 16 last week to 14 this week.

Matilda’s Marvelous Adventure Presented by the Almaden Senior Players

You’ll smile. You’ll chuckle. You’ll laugh out loud. Matilda’s Marvelous Adventure, a play written and directed by local Almaden Valley senior Mary Sheehan, follows Matilda Kumquat’s adventures as she travels around the world meeting various zany people she encounters along the way. Join in the fun and experience a humorous look at airlines, cruises, tourists, and tour groups.

The show will be presented on three dates at the Almaden Community Center:

  • January 22, 2012, 3pm. Dinner show, including wine and dessert. $15 for members, $20 for non-members.
  • January 24, 2012, 2pm. Includes popcorn. First-come, first-served tickets for $5.
